Keep seeing attempts at guns-to-cars "argument." So... 1) All drivers must pass exams and be licensed; (3) all vehicles must registered; (4) all vehicles must be insured; and (5) driving is a privilege, not a right. I could go on, but...not the same. At all.

I'm just surprised that Vermont has a Republican governor. At least in theory, as he seems to be folding like a cheap suit to public pressure.

Giving guns to teachers is no different from painting bull’s-eyes on their backs! A teacher who’s packing naturally will become the target of choice in just about any school confrontation scenario! “ What an idiot idea! “Suicide-by-teacher” will replace “Suicide-by-cop!” #resist

Most of these killers are not criminals until AFTER the mass killings... and raising the age limit will give up what... mass college shooting??? 🤔

Yeah, like that's gonna work. More like it's a nightmare of bureaucratic red tape. Whose gonna do a background check when I hand down a classic firearm?

Raising the legal age is a start, this way these kids won't be judged as minors but adults.

If an 18 yr old can join the military and vote then he has a right to own a gun.
