We have lost an average of 60,000 C corporations every year in the US. We've lost over one million since the 1986 Tax Act. Most corps switched to S for benefits, and foreign investments dried up. We are finally opening the US back up for business.

Working as intended! When we reformed S corp in TRA86 bill, we increased the number of shareholders that S corp could have, from 35 to 100. Result was massive switch from C corps to S corps. Wouldn't be a bad thing, but S corps can't acquire foreign shareholders. Bad for growth!
