        If I follow this correctly, bitcoin mining doesn't scale well? The more bitcoins mined, the harder and more processing power it requires, making subsequent mining even harder requiring yet more processing power, and so on?

        bc you can only make max 21 million btc. Eventually the process is slowed down, this is part of the code. And once you reach 21 million this is it! no more bitcoin is created. Currently, it is at near 16M.

        Just another way to pollute Earth with an imaginary currency and real heat and greenhouse gas. The only problem solved: how to launder money from trafficking, drug deals, ransoms, ... Same for blockchain. And addiction to crime that will kill humanity
