        For fuck's sake, the legislature is trying to seize the right to determine if their map is Constitutional because there are no provisions for fixing this dispute. This isn't a coup, its a textbook Constitutional Crisis.

        Supreme Court turned down case because it was gerrymandering and knew if legislature did not stop gerrymandering, state court would redraw the lines. Based on article’s logic cases like Citizens United shouldn’t be allowed because only conservatives on the court supported it.
