A 'bump stock' wasn't used in last week's shooting in Florida, but it was used in deadly Las Vegas attackhttp://on.wsj.com/2EGuPqK

Five months too late. The Las Vegas shooting was back in October. While this is a step forward, we need more comprehensive gun reform, not measly changes.

Neither was an #assaultrifle but everyone seems to want to ban those...even though they’re already effectively banned.

It's not the bump stock it's the weapon itself ,who needs a weapon that shoot those many bullets , are you in America or in a war zone ,plus it starts at home with education

Helps to have a semi-automatic weapon with lots of rounds. Not saying you can’t get the job done else wise, but it’s certainly safer that way. We’ve shot them with bows, but man you’re taking some chances you get ran up on by a sounder.

People's vs. NRA and the Republican Congress. This isn't about "bump stock" it's about the dangerous military assault rifles that civilians can own and commit mass murder on a regular basis in a civilian general population. Get rid of the rifles, bump stock goes with them 😇!

Memo to MR.TRUMP...It’s not the bump stocks that are killing people, it’s the guns. And events like the grade school CHILDREN raising money by a raffle of which the GRAND PRIZE is an AR 15 ASSAULT rifle. The right to bear arms in AMERICA is far more than the preservative of life.

So we're banning wood and springs? That's all you really need to make a bump stock. And you don't even need a bump stock to bump-fire a semi-auto. It just makes it less awkward.
