Opinion: What’s gone wrong with our culture that produces such atrocities? It’s a very long list, writes @peggynoonannychttp://on.wsj.com/2CqnAgy

19 years old can't buy a beer but AR-15 totally ok. Is this makes any sense? What's wrong with our society.

What's wrong-politicians sold their souls to devil-NRA who delude citizens 2 believe greatest security risk are illegals & Muslims. NO NEED 4 ANY 1, except police & military 2 have killing machines. Like the MeToo movement people need to stand up & shout 'TimesUp!

How about starting with the overly budgeted military industrial complex and their off the books offshoots that support unnecessary conflict and violence around the globe.

Good point but nothing 2 do with Americans shooting each other up in record #'s? ONLY country in developed world with more guns than people, killing machines ONLY suitable 4 police & military easily available to public. Greatest threat being ignored by NRA bribed politicians.

Bring NRA @ Planned Parenthood to the table and agree to Ms Noonan’s plan. What a great day in America would that be? @realDonaldTrump be that negotiator. Really put your mark on America history.

Could it be the fact that the media post the shooter's mug all over social media? Or perhaps the fact that we treat everything with a pill instead of actually doing something. Or maybe it's the fact that Gun free Zones lack the security to actually keep guns out.

People haven't changed. We had divorce, abortion, violent culture, mental health issues before all of this. The difference is that there are more people, and more exposure to what is going on in our world.
