Since 1998, there have been more than a dozen shootings at kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools that resulted in multiple deaths. These are some of the victims. http://on.wsj.com/2Ezan6Z pic.twitter.com/NAjk4hA12R

How many children's lives would you trade for your assault rifle? 20? 40? 60?

When students become aggressive it's partly due to their inability 2 communicate. Or, look at it that they are crying out for help. #MentalHealthReformNow #SchoolShootings #mentalhealth #MentalHealthAwareness #schoolshooting

This is the reality that #Republicans and the #NRA want. Their demands 4 2nd Amendment “rights” to be armed & to kill dovetail nicely with their faux #ProLife movement..a selfish endeavor whose advocates care solely about the imaginary reward of heaven 👦🏼🌈🦄

In fairness to Republican sensitivities, shouldn't you devote equal page space to pictures of their beloved AR15 and other semiautomatics?

1/2: That could be a fair question ... if you're willing to take out of the equation all firearms employed by law enforcement, who are supposed to have them.

Not the point. Law enforcement gun encounters, even if later ruled inappropriate, are sanctioned by their role as deputies of society. Can't count them as a benefit of an armed citizenry.

Based on the bulk of citizens I pass on the street, I find that a profoundly ill-thought preference.

"You should fear government FAR more than citizens." Well, especially with the current crop of cronies, you have a point.
