When the stock market tumbled earlier this month, what did you do? Call your financial adviser, put more money in the market, cash out? Whatever the case, we want to hear from you.http://on.wsj.com/2CnSUMW

Nothing. The nature of the stock market is to have ups and downs. Any attempt of trying to make sense out of a thing that can be influenced by anything is futile. Invest in sectors that have a reasonable chance of success over time and ride the wave.

I pretty much ignored it. It was obvious volatility had more to do with manipulation than a "technical correction." U.S. economic fundamentals are sound with the exception of the dollar's value. If the $ goes south, we and all humanity will have more to worry about than stocks.

I stayed still, but wondered if my advisor was interested in cryptocurrancy. I worry that there's too much money for the world, not enough Earth

I listened to experts from multiple sources. Because there was no common consensus about the cause, I held my position. I also made a plan and was ready to move. Alternatives are slim though!

Had taken some gains in the two weeks before the correction because I was - I'll admit it - nervous. Doesn't bother me to sit on extra cash for a bit while I decide how to allocate.

Determined it was algorithm induced and remained and kept depositing at Edward Jones. Where is the top? Next correction? Will the bear emerge strengthening the bond market? So getting nervous
