Two of the biggest legislative deals in Trump’s presidency—a $1.5 trillion tax cut and a $300 billion spending package—illustrate an emerging feature of Trumponomics: a willingness to tolerate larger budget deficits deep into an economic expansion.http://on.wsj.com/2EldTWH

For the life of me I can't understand how he has filed for bankruptcy 7 times. Is that an option for a country?

I realize his presidency is young, but let's not act like Republican willingness to run large deficits is something new.....

Seems like a good way to screw up a perfectly good economy... (... what's the word for stagnant wages and inflation? stagflation...?)

So what happens when the economy falters? More spending and more tax cuts?

If gdp is growing faster than debt then it is sustainable. Not doing anything to increase gdp growth is riskier in the long run. If government and the private sector would increase its capital investments and reduce its unproductive expenditures, the debt would be sustainable.

It illustrates an idiot. Don't need a stimulus wh economy is good. U focus on paying down #debt like you promised, while #unemployment is low & CPI/GDP good. Instead he's racking up the debt more, wanting billions more for defense, borderwall & infrastructure. #Finance #TaxScam
