        53,000,000 gallons for 88,000 cesspools equals 600 gallons per day per household. That may be overstated.

        Interesting. I wonder if Puerto Rico is in a similar situation. I love our Islands and would hate it if people got sick due to lack of sanity sewer collection & treatment systems.

        That's not an accurately portrayed article. The reality yes.State govt BS-debated this since 1945 & failed to require & replace cesspools w/septictanks, fill-lines, proper placement aling with deeper wells & where possible potable community water.After WWII B$ was granted & stole

        Good warning! A Friend of mine got necro- *something... In his skin when swimming in oahu. He had a little tiny spot on stomach that turned dead! And every day he had to scoop out dead flesh from his stomach at home as it spread!!! Drs thought he would surely die! Gave him spoon!
