Sick? Good news: a drug promises to kill the flu in a single day. Bad news: Americans will have to wait at least a year before they can buy it.http://on.wsj.com/2EVzgLh

Watch how American consumers will be charged an amount equivalent to a small car for a handful of these "wonder drugs". If they ever reach the market.

Big Pharm in US doesn’t really want to CURE diseases and illnesses. Not profitable enough for them. Want a cure, go to Europe they have free healthcare and it behooves them economically to have a healthier population. US will keep you just sick enough to keep you coming back.

I don't get the flu... Often. When I do, it's been a 3 day ordeal. I'm not sure, unless it's disclosed, how this vaccine was developed, i.e. what is in it and the testing of it was hopefully thorough? I think I'll take the 3 or so days.

Mmmm. Chock full of mercury to preserve it. Not tested because rigorous testing is not regulatory required for vaccines. Big pharm love$ vaccine$. They make a bigger buck. And where do we stand on an Ebola vaccine?

Bad news? Maybe the rest of the world never get access to this, because the pharmaceuticals must get their profits first.

The question is: why did it take this long to find a cure for the common flu?! You’d think we’d be on this a long time ago...pic.twitter.com/MXTJxG3ekH

Because it’s ability to mutate rapidly allows it to overcome any medicine we can make. Probably including this one.

Meaning this is a temporary solution to this one flu strain? 🤔

It seems to me to be an antiviral. Which disables or weakens the flu allowing for body to cure it’s self faster. It may be more useful for more than one strain. Until the virus mutates, if it can. It’s based on HIV research & there is no cure for that.
