Opinion: Rather than proceed with caution, the FBI swallowed Christopher Steele’s tale, writes @KimStrasselhttp://on.wsj.com/2ESds39

So why was the investigation including FISA warrant already under way before the #Dossier was published. Timelines are almost as important as money.

This article is an attack on the person and doesn’t refute a single line of what he produced. This is typical of the GOP talking points: we can’t refute the data so let’s throw mud at the person and hope some sticks.

They have proceeded with caution, and carefully verified most of the dossier. The FBI isn’t some kind of amateur hour clown show like the WSJ editorial desk.

This blatantly ignores the fact that the FBI cooroberated key facts. This "opinion" is just Trump alternative fact- lies

They let their liberal bias interfere with their job. FBI should be non-political.

You’ve bought into the smoke/mirrors that T protectors had hoped for. There is no evidence of politically motivated actions. There is only evidence that FBI personal hold personal political beliefs. Big difference. Many people have to set aside personal beliefs to do their job.

Your argument is flawed from the beginning. Steele was not an FBI “source”. He did however have his own sources providing intel he found credible and worthy of sharing with FBI. All else that follows in your rant is tainted by your ignorance.

Mr. Steele is a f**king hero for raising the alarm over Russia’s cyberattacks/election interference against the US. He deserves a medal, not this BS.

Hey, but, then again, we are fast becoming a society that is just ready to convict based on accusations in other venues. This shouldn't surprise anyone. It seems that today's template is that you start with an agenda, make an accusation to support it and go from there. Tidy.

This has been debunked already, WSJ. Steele dossier is a series of raw intelligence reports, which simply corroborated what the IC knew from other sources.
