Lebanon is on the road to becoming an Iranian satellite, with all that this entails in terms of basic freedoms being snuffed out.

I read Al Monitor (Lebanon Pulse), l'Orient Le Jour and Al Nahar twice a week and I can see like anyone with a brain that the Hezb calls the shots. But I'm foreign, what's your excuse for not understanding Lebanon?

Every political party has a big influence in the country but fyi those news papers that read you read twice a week are well known to biased to certain political parties

Al Monitor and Al Nahar are pro-Iran. L'Orient is pro-West and moderately pro-Saudi. That's a pretty good ideological spread, no?

Bullshit. Lebanon deteriorated because of the civil war. Was thriving prior.
