Love the idea, it would be a nice trick, ain't going to happen. Just another promise he can't keep. This is a poy to get Seniors focused on voting for GOP 2018. Nothing about Trump or his history says he is for this. Don't be fooled. #VoteThemOut2018

This is probably the worst aspect of Trump. He will lie and use anyone to get what he wants. The path that needs to be walked to unify this country and get us back on track to helping Americans is clear, it starts with #votetheGOPout2018

Write it down. Because soon - after being talked to by right wing House Republicans - he will deny ever supporting the idea

Dear Mr President that’s a start but we also need tort reform. There has to be a cap are these usurious awards that drive insurance and medical costs. I’m not saying that awards are not warranted is some instances just the amount awarded .

I'll believe it when I see it. Of course, not all insurance providers will cover generics. I know -- mine doesn't. It will only cover the higher priced meds.

I'm sure there will be some Republican twist to this. Maybe they will give drug companies money from social security to subsidize the lost profits.

Excellent idea, along with scrutinizing the price of each & every drug. I was paying $860 for 90 days of a common drug with bicarbonate added. I asked my doctor & several pharmacists, if I could take the drug with aspirin free Alka Seltzer. The cost fell to $8.00. 100 times less!
