My favorite yearly American tradition is getting to watch a bunch of cantankerous geriatrics have a pissing contest. While acting like they’re fighting for Joe Sixpack. When they’re really pounding the tender rump of the middle class like there’s no tomorrow.

Sometimes Nancy has these really scary "dreamers", that is why she is oblivious to everything else that is going on around her. Can the Democrats please tuck Nancy in for a nap so the country can move forward? @cnnbrk @FoxNewspic.twitter.com/cnPYf9jTBB

Kudos to the Senate for doing their jobs, though they'll need to find ways to make up for some of that spending or we're going to be in quite a tall mountain of debt. Does @NancyPelosi matter at this point? She can't block it,right?

Spending up $300-billion, coupled with the already passed tax cuts, on top of an already big deficit. The U.S. should declare the American fiscalhawk to be an endangered species.

A heated economy with growth exceeding 3% growth, moving to 4% will pay for all of the above. Just hope it happens. Cuts would have never reversed a couple trillion in deficits. I don’t see any other answer than economic growth.

I’m not an economist (not even close), but I suspect tat it would take a multiplier effect very much bigger than the actual one for an increased tax base due to a growing economy to make up for the large increases in expenditures and decreases in tax rates.

Why is Paul Ryan holding out for Presidential approval for DACA when its clear that a clean DACA bill could pass with super majority and be veto proof... Get it done and do your job. The overwhelming support for DACA by the American ppl is as clear as the nose on your face

But a clean DACA bill would just create the problem again with new kids being brought across the borders. Just saying that we will look at the problem won’t help (look at history of Congress). Immagration and DACA has to be done at same time for negotiating best outcome.

Very important to save DACA recipients. I couldn’t imagine being thrown out of the only country I remember, my home. It’s horrible to even talk about the possibility. Now is the time for immagration and border security though. 1/2

Just a clean DACA would never yield the necessary debate for solving the problems of illegal immigration. It is a very big problem and can now be fixed. If there could just be some unity! Give some $ for Wall, end the Lottery, limit migrating families to Spouse, kids or more.

The offer to take registered and unregistered (hate Kelly’s comments) DACA recipients and give a path to citizenship is a tremendous opportunity. The framework is there. The full amount of $ and all terms don’t have to me met. There is middle ground.
