Why does it take 2 years to get rid of foam cups

Contractual agreements with shipping and manufactures. There would be a big payment or fine enforced if they didn’t fulfill their contracts until the end. Maybe even legal action. This all just an assumption though. I could be wrong 🤷‍♂️

About time. Styrofoam should be banned altogether.

Foam & plastic should be banned from all food packing! I'm told, over & over, that Recycling Plants get more paper & board than they can sell. Shame! I remember sandwiches wrapped in paper, paper trays, cups & straws...all could be from recycled material! Yay Dunkin' Donuts!!

I am still trying to understand how this is great news. I don't want to contaminate the earth, but I also want my coffee hot and the foam cups keep the coffee hotter longer. If they can replicate that part of it so be it.
