Excessive rules around relationships at work can be tough to enforce and make it hard for companies to attract and retain talent, experts sayhttp://on.wsj.com/2nGdeVb

Regardless what’s legal, I’ve always believed it’s best not to date people you do business with. Especially with the increase in casual dating behaviors. #imo

Yup. Even in the best of circumstances there can be conflicts of interest and suspicion from others. Best just to keep personal and professional lives separate.

GE Aviation would have to permanently disband. They're all married to each other over there.

IMHO, it’s not the dating, or a subsequent (long term) relationship. It’s what happens if that relationship goes sour, and the people involved still (have to) work together.

I dunno - Some guys just don't know the "rules" and don't always pick up on body language as easily as most girls do (especially techs...), so communicating the the rules clearly is very important for success. ( I mean, I didn't know about 'the 90% lean' until I saw Hitch...)

One of the major problems you're going to encounter in case of rules on relationships at work is that 70% of all people meet their spouse at work. Likeminded people do work in similar places. Be courteous, don't intimidate, get to know each other, live and make love.

Irony, I hope? Based on that notion, would you still speak to the pretty lady behind the register that naturally owns the place? I don't think wearing a sign "I want a relationship." is going to discourage sexual harassment. #NobodyTellsMeWhereToFindLove

It does come off as a bit desperate. I think by law, If we encourage the way people think and feel right now, the only way to get a relationship is to sign up for one of those television dating shows. You could make a movie out of that. #IdeaForAScreenplay?
