What disposes a person to engage in sexual harassment? In some cases, power can play a rolehttp://on.wsj.com/2BYPShW

There are many factors, one being a society bent on denying men emotions that we were created with. When a man has to deny his own emotions how us he supposed to evaluate & appreciate those of anyone else?

Ok. Sounds pretty right. But self-discipline doesn't count as a pretext to overtake s.o.else's dignity. There are 2 layers being mixed here, my guess.

The point is men fail to know what is appropriate because they have been desensitized to emotion for self preservation. If men deny thier feelings they don't know how to validate another.

The sad part is the harasser REALLY may not think they are doing anything wrong. When we teach sex ed in school, we need to teach "consent", and what that looks and sounds like. And how to avoid, just like "don't drink and drive" campaigns of the 80's/90's.

It's a continuum of sexual aggression. It's about power when it's rape and it's about power when it's this bullshit too

"Power Can play a role" ...... y'all. Anyone who sexually harasses another individual obviously has a predisposed feeling of eliteness or superiority. We should further examine more helpful ways to deter/stop/slow sexual harassment as a whole.

Wait a second guys, what if rape and sexual assault are more about power than sexual gratification, and rapists commit their horrific crimes to fulfill some kind of addiction to power, just like serial killers are often sateiating a blood lust.
