Maybe if he gives $1.50 to each member? It’s a lot of money ya know! 🤔🤐🤷‍♀️

I hope @SpeakerRyan Ryan pushes his agenda to strip Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid benefits from Americans in 2018 - that will ensure Democrats take the Senate as well as the House! He won’t be happy until people really do think a $1.50 a week is a lot of money!

Do the Congressional Republicans have any EMPATHY? 67% of Americans do not have $1000 in a savings account. They work hard, get minimal benefits and Republicans want to cut all safety nets.

Anything is difficult in the senate since there are too many RINOs.

Why are Republicans such assholes now? Really? My dad was Republican but at least he recognized that charity and governmental help for poorer people is just sensible.

His budget slashes spending on programs that benefit Americans of limited means — 69 percent of all cuts — $137 billion from food stamps, 24 percent or $732 billion from Medicaid, and $125 billion from Pell Grants— while giving millionaires an average tax cut of at least $200,000

It may trouble getting through senate . . . at least until the 2018 midterms. Then the rethuglicans will all unleash hell unless we get them out and take back control.

The senators have to deal with everyone in their state. Increasing welfare for the rich + corporations shouldn't be at expense of poor.

@SpeakerRyan’s safety-net overhaul proposal needs to include a guaranteed jobs program for benefit recipients. I hear there are tons of jobs open in the Trump administration, so this shouldn’t be a problem. Clearly experience isn’t even a requisite.
