The stock market can't keep going up. It has to take a breather. This sell off is good in order to go higher. Based on 4th quarter earnings reports, it can. 10 year bond yield approaching 3%. If you're in for the long haul, no worries. Make sure investments are diversified.

And: there are new historic dynamics: the US has always been the uber safe haven for parking assets. As Trmp & the GOP steadily erode this, USD has tanked & sovereigns are not buying, & are in fact selling our debt @ the same time FR is unwinding a never seen b4 balance sheet.

Wall Street and the Fed have conditioned mom and pop to buy any dip. Witness the barrage of retirement advising and stock trading ads on TV. Gotta prime the bagholders

The market seems pretty volatile from what I've seen. The gains and losses are both large. This seems worrisome.

When you post crap like this to promote fear yeah the markets will go down. Everything is up yet we have the biggest dip in 2 years all because a couple people with too much money got scared of something that isn’t happening.

Boy boy boy I cannot WAIT for the sheep to start crying about losses in their index funds & ETFs, products that have been touted as savings accounts for the past 5 years. Active strats will clean up. The best thing for this market is for Vanguard to lose about $1T in AUM
