Holy crap! Humanity is at a loss! All boring jobs are going to be handed out to robots, so all that we have left are creative jobs that actually entice your brain! We all need to be afraid! Very afraid! Robots are killing boredom! Help!

Too late ! Even for a creative jobs, AI creates already ! And very soon AI will create much better than a human !

So far AI can only recreate based on existing images. Creation means to come up with something original. You have to be conscious to be able to do that. I do think it will be possible to create artificial conscious beings in the future, but that's like... #DontDoIT (get it)

Even today AI is doing more than just recreating on the base of the giving data: writing articles, music etc. I found a lot by searching “ Cognitive science “ associated with “ AI”

They tried having AI write a screenplay. You need imagination to come up with three dimensional characters (psychology, sociology, physiology) that are orchestrated properly opposing each other on some points and teaming up on others. Writing equals more than words.

re: "Writing equals more than words" Check: "Japanese AI Writes a Novel, Nearly Wins Literary Award" http://bigthink.com/natalie-shoemaker/a-japanese-ai-wrote-a-novel-almost-wins-literary-award … "A science fiction novelist at the press conference... commented on the piece, saying,“I was surprised at the work because it was a well-structured novel.

When you read the article it basically says that everything I said a human needs to do was actually carried out by ... humans. Was that your point?

My point is: 1/ we are jsut at the beginning of AI developement and AI already is capable to perform better: "When compared with the staff reporters, Xiao Nan(AI robot) has a stronger ability to analyse data and is quicker at writing stories".
