To the author. You don't know sports. Neither does WSJ. Stick to the BS you know how to write about. But sports isn't your strong suit. Up Trumps Ass you know. And Yes Stay Out Of Philly.

Fictional Rocky Balboa is like a member of the family in Philly. The statute is a symbol of triumph over adversity, good over evil, success over failure, survival over poverty and the importance of family & friends.

Well the Statue of Liberty isnt a ‘real person’ either , but it’s a symbol. As the Rocky statue is for Philly (hard working under dog, etc)

I loved Rocky, and Rocky II. However, to Philadelphians Rocky is not as revered as much as people outside Philly think. We know not to call them The Rocky steps. If you follow the famous Rocky Run as depicted in the film. You would run about 100 miles.

Joe Frazier exists. Which points out what cherry picked crap this article is.

Stupid article. Dr J, “fo’ fi’ fo’” Malone, ‘93 Phillies, Broad Stret Bullies (putting “while they had” in front doesn’t do anything to renegotiate)... city has plenty.

Was because of the one loss. But Malone went fo...fo..fo. But due to the 1 loss to Milwaukee. The rings were printed with Fo Fi Fo. But Malone said it once and never changed it.
