By the by, since trump came to power no one consider US as a super power. It is just another neo-fascist state masquerading as democracy.

There is no need for nonsensical train service from China to Europe. And same is true for modern day Silk Road initiative. There are plenty of economical options. Unless, of course, the Chinese intend to ship out millions of migrants illegally to Europe as it has done to Italy

America is tired. Only waging wars remain; soon that too will diminish due to depletion of strength after millions of unnecessary deaths and suffering.

China does this using unskilled rural workers. These people have virtually no rights, their work is subject to almost no health and safety rules, and they are paid a pittance.

@DAaronovitch I'd never heard #Silkroad2 called whatever u called on your show. I must have read dozens of articles & tweets & its always been called Silk Road 2. Clearly #MI6 official language & that chap was a bit biased. China builds, US makes war. The battle of ideologies.😎

In the US, you have a group of regressive ideologues who are afrains of their own shadows. They call government investment of any kind "Socialism."
