Not giving the proper amount of pills to someone in need is not helping the situation. It is a lot easier and more dangerous to turn to the black market when one is in serious need of a drug. Once you find that illegal dealer, and the easy access to the drug, it's harder to stop.

That should be between the doctor and the patient. There is too much government intervention.

Mmmm... I’d rather believe it depends on how the patient manage the pain...

None. I have been through surgery twice, I didn't take it once.

After knee replacement, I needed pain meds for a couple of months. 40 pills won't cut it. Patients should verify with their doctor that they won't be forced to suffer for some theoretical limit.

@realDonaldTrump A new company kills (according to them monitors) with remote neural monitoring developing new illnesses. The new pharma has a ‘market’ & their frequencies can be passed to Asia via jihad. Neighbour one for jihad, two for drugs & three for testing.

Just had a conversation about this. Broken hand. Doc sent patient home with 40 pills, prescribed to take 1 a day, and said to come back if need more. When would you need more unless you're addicted? Prescription irresponsibility is part of the problem.
