They wanted it to cause chaos and it has. We are getting to the truth though. However, many dems and the MSM are still peddling that junk.

So was Steele a double agent, unbeknownst to British intelligence? Or is it that Steele, an intelligence professional, was played by Russian Intelligence?

And the Wall Street Journal opinion page reports this as truth because of its extensive sources in the intelligence world?

Funny that WSJ would come up with a more convoluted narrative of double agency to supersede the eminently believable narrative that Putin might be able to blackmail a narcissistic, greedy, philandering businessman who spent a lot of time inMoscow

Two possibilities: 1) WSJ has solid, (non FSB) sources in the intelligence world, which it has the resources to vet. 2) WSJ opinion page is flacking for Trump and his Republican allies.

I'm afraid the latter is far more plausible given the known biases and assets of the WSJ: this just more chaff to cover a corrupt, perhaps treasonous administration.

And the other problem remains, the Steele Dossier could well be polluted by Kremlin counterintelligence, and Clinton connived to give Russia Uranium....

But we still have objectively Russophilic president In office, we still have four top aides indicted for foreign dealings, and we have numerous indications that Trump's Russophilia is a manifestation of his personal interests.

Of course it would be easier To discern Trump's personal interests if he had released his taxes as promised. Why hasn't he?

I do not understand the WSJ stance, a bad story of one always favor an other. What is your argument here? It is the wrong-doing that is exposed here, and that it fits someone at the other end should not prevent us to expose.

The Kremlin has been playing us for a long time. Think back to Yuri Bezmenov & Anatoly Galitsyn; before that Harry Dexter White and his infiltration of our government with communist views.
