Sadly, you try even getting a job much less an interview. There is such a thing as age discrimination. Employers are looking for new college grads with 20 years experience. Can’t have it both ways. You either get the wisdom and experience or you get the new college grad.

What if people who have worked their entire lives don't want to continue to work anymore just to eat and afford healthcare? People aren't slaves to produce capital. Economic inequality and an economy that transfers wealth from laborers to the Idle Elite treats us like we are.

I'm sure inflation and high US health care costs haven't helped. Pointless speculating or judging so harshly as no data to say what their pre-retirement situation was. Take care.

With Americans living longer than ever before, it only makes sense for people to work longer. Raise the retirement age. Studies also show that people who work past age 65 live even longer.

Greed. We use to deal with greed true taxes. There's a reason our middle class is no where near the strongest anymore and has been shrinking for 30 years. I'm not interested in your libertarian scam
