Please Sir, may I buy some frosting and M & M’s to decorate my son’s Birthday Cake? It would be wonderful too, Sir, if Granny could buy some ice cream so when my son visits she can share a treat with him...

Maybe Maine's governor should help his state advance economically, so that people in the state could enjoy living a better lifestyle than having to buy sweets with their food stamps!

Approved vendors should only be grocery stores or pharmacy. FS are used at convenient stores and in some states fast food places.

Are either one of those items used for nutritional purposes? No....that's why they're ineligible.

Yes yet they are basic human necessities. Try living in a civilized society without either of them for a week as a personal challenge of compassion.

Being poor and having to use SNAP is humiliating in itself, why not boost it so they can at least enjoy eating. Sadistic fucks.

Have you commenters been inside a market with food stamp users? You buy your staples just like anyone else. Then, since you saved some because of your EBT, you can buy the other items you want that aren’t healthy. We’re all the same generally.
