He probably doesn't even know where Armenia is. He doesn't know history.

What does Trump have to do w Armenia? Is WSJ trying to say he is responsible for what the Ottoman Empire (forerunner of Turkey) did to Armenians, or is this just another D gotcha ? Come on, would you like to blame Trump for Alexander the Great trying to conquer Afghanistan? JERKS

I am truly sorry for what happened to Armenians, and that your Grandfather had to suffer watching it without support. He sounds like a true hero! But why call on Trump to denounce the atrocity, unless you have called on all previous US Presidents to denounce it to no avail? Reply

We in fact have called on many us presidents for recognition even president Obama gave his words in a campaign in California that he would finally recognize the genocide, but went back on his words.

I apologize, sincerely. It appears I am the jerk! I have heard what happened to your ancestors and it is appalling. In this horrible political climate, we tend to suspect such questions, but that is no excuse. The Kurds have also suffered from being robbed of their divided land.

No need for apology. You asked for clarification. There is nothing wrong with that. Thank you for you reply.

It’s time the US Government recognizes the atrocities committed against the Armenian people.

SO disappointing that this would count as "daring". Its historicity is a reality, and to deny is wouldn't simply be cowardly, it would be abominable
