That's not an opinion, that's fact you fools. People need to give back, millionaires and billionaires need to give back to the people that bestowed them with wealth and support the nation that gave them the opportunity. Humans are so damn short sighted.

Most of IBM’s research and production was once in Endicott, NY. They were the backbone of a thriving community. A model community following on the heels of the benevolent Endicott-Johnson model. Then NY taxed the hell out of them and they pulled out entirely. NC had low taxes.

Now you will see NY boasting on Twitter how they are pouring tax dollars into Endicott and towns like it to give them facelifts. Its the 3rd or 4th such program in 40-50 years. The businesses that thrived and had people supporting smaller businesses and a local tax base left.

Also now, the State University, SUNY, is the largest employer in the state. Feeding off more tax dollars to provide free education and brainwashing young minds to be good socialist and future slaves to the state.

Those who approve of their socialist state should read the Endicott-Johnson story. Endicott’s biography is of a rags to riches life. The community in the Triple Cities was once beautiful. It was a story of benevolent business and immigrants. It was the opposite of socialism.
