Yeah the smoke was practically black in the 80's when my dad first worked there. The white smoke you see in this picture is practically just steam now. BECAUSE OF REGULATIONS!!!! Fucking idiots.

Their shortsightedness is stunning. They really think a few more $$ now is worth ruining the planet & our health.

In what language does this make any sense? Really? No language on Planet Earth. The EPA is not serving environmentalism-it is serving GREED and IGNORANCE and completely erasing an positive and constructive environmental agenda.

Trump is out of step with the rest of the world on renewable energy. He's propping up the coal and fossil fuel industries when the rest of the world is going the other direction. @NRDC @SierraClub @EricHolthaus @jcartillier @KarmenuVella @dicapriofdn @MarkRuffalo @NancySinatra

WTH?! I remember as child, before the emissions policy, the air quality was graded on how harmful it was for you to be outdoors .On particularly bad days, you had to stay indoors. I don't want to go back to brown smoggy skies

The travesties continue unabated - with Presidential appointments antithetical to the purposes of the agencies. Years of work and progress can be and are demolished in a relatively short time. Repeal and replace - the Administration and its proxies - is the only answer.
