Why doesn't the Government run Food Stamps like the WIC program? Can only buy healthy foods...built in incentive to get off welfare.

Opinion: Stop the blood gushing from your head, before clipping a hangnail. If there was any attempt to create sustainable farm to table food channels in impoverished areas, this kind of pointless deck shuffling horse shit wouldn't even be necessary

OMFG. This is ridiculous. SNAP recipients should not be dictated to regarding food choice. With little funds to stretch, fresh produce is a luxury item. As a child , we ate lots of eggs, potatoes, hamburger and other high fat foods with food stamps. Health is secondary to hunger.

Make #EBT cards truly #foodstamps. Strictly control what type of food #EBTcards can purchase (no sugar sodas, candy, chips etc. ) and where they can be used (no convenience stores or fast food). The poor on EBT cards r the most unhealthy cohort in Americahttps://www.institutefornaturalhealing.com/2011/04/the-economics-of-obesity-why-are-poor-people-fat/ …

Get sugar out of our food....does a candy bar really need 15 grams of sugar in it. Wouldn't it taste just as good with 5 grams?
