The Trump administration said new barriers on solar panels and washing machines are aimed at protecting domestic production from cheap importshttp://on.wsj.com/2G9pzc3

I’m betting Trump is more interested in harming the solar industry than balancing trade since he is a petty little tyrant.

Nonsense. Free market would allow open competition re: energy. Instead, fossil fuels preferred since they’ve paid off D.C.

So now it’s harder for an industry employing 88,000 people to get the materials they need. It’s now going to take longer for the US to get off fossil fuels and to stop destroying the planet. Or win:win as Trump probably sees it.

I try to buy American made even if it cost a little bit more. Same as someone buying organic food. China’s Cheap labor and no labor laws or human rights. They can make thing cheaper. China is not our friend. Why give them our business?

Washing machines are simplest of machines but I couldn't get the metal casing back on and the back panel fell off. Stop making fun of me. It might have been simple but all I saw was a clutch worth the price of a machine.
