Instead of minimizing children’s screen time, @mims asks: What if we gave them unlimited access to devices?http://on.wsj.com/2mXoUBW

Would that benefit the kids or the adults who want to spend more time on screens themselves?

Let me have a go. They wake up and go to sleep with it. They use it at school and sometimes at dinner. BUT my son knows Java and Python because of it and I had no clue he used these and even has a preference between the two languages! (I sleep fine.)

They would behave like adults, walk in the streets, staring down at their mini-computers and staying up all hours of the night on social media.

They already have it. Ex: Group of parents take their 5 & 6 year old bowling for a birthday. The parents are standing around talking, look up and the kids have all of the names entered into the scoreboard and are bowling.
