Sounds like they could benefit from having mental health professionals on staff! I can't wait for the day when more people recognize that being mentally healthy is just as important taking care of your physical body! #MentalHealthIsImportantToo #sundaymorning #MentalHealthMatters

Sadly, millions of people in the workplace think about suicide often. Framing it as “The unthinkable” shrouds it in hyperbole and makes it a bigger unknown monster.

Better yet, why not train ALL employees to look for the warning signs, not just managers?

It’s not exactly “the unthinkable” if you’re thinking so much about it, you’ve written a feature story with quotes from primary sources who are also thinking about it...

Competition, insecurity, and pressure to produce are necessary as the failure of socialism demonstrates. But Mankind does not seem to be getting stronger; finding the optimum levels seems urgent.

This shouldn't be something dealt with after the fact! Managers should be directing employees towards meaningful work from the start. These workers were probably given robot-like tasks devoid of any ethical grounding, all for the sake of short term profit.

It is NOT just suicides! It is the millions who were “downsized” or forced to train their H-1 replacements. Corporate America failed Americans.

From a corporate standpoint, this is about managers protecting the company's assets. If it were legal and people wanted it, be assured that an American company would gladly produce Soylent Green.

@RachelFeintzeig ...the problem is hate. Hate is accepted in US society and promoted by the media. Hate destroys people.
