Opinion: At a time when actual qualifications no longer seem to matter, President Oprah is entirely plausible, writes Joseph Epsteinhttp://on.wsj.com/2DR9De8

Oprah could have Ellen D.for Vice President. Then when North Korea launches some nukes, they can discuss it on a talk show and have people phone in with their comments. Maybe have Kim jun Un on as a guest

I like Oprah but seriously haven’t we learned anything from the current tv personality we have in office? Just say NO to tv personalities for politics!

Reminder: Obama was absolutely not qualified to be president. He was a junior Senator and community activist who had accomplished nothing. Oprah and Trump far more qualified with real world experience and significant accomplishments.

Succeeding in the private sector on the level Oprah has, overtaking a notoriously racist and sexist industry (network tv) and now owning her own network, is far more challenging than running for House or Senate and (occasionally) showing up to vote for bills.

Rarely bash Obama, but in carefully considered retrospect, he was the least qualified President in my lifetime, dating back to FDR. HIs only qualification was that he was electable. NIce man. NO leadership skllis.
