Well, duh, Captain Obvious. But it will aid in keeping illegal border crossers out in the first place.

for sure. I think the wall is to control the visitors that gain access to the backyard without invitation or asking to enter. In other words trespassers. Meanwhile it might help in the drug trafficking.

May not, but it will significantly slow them from entering the country, thus they won't have the chance to overstay!

Not legal visitors. A lot of our illegal population comes here legally, and when that expires, they just stay.

No kidding. No one is expecting a wall to be the sole solution to illegal immigration or drug trafficking, but take a walk along the southern border of Arizona & you'll see why it's needed.

Terrorists who committed the 9/11 acts, came into US on planes, legally.Wall would have no effect on that kind of attack, nor would it have anything to do with domestic terrorists who have committed more crimes than people who were immigrants, refugees, or international visitors.

Duh...Illogical statement! We CAUGHT 160,000 crossing last year...how many crossed that didn't get caught? I live in NM. My State is filled with illegals who work for cash-not caught & not on the record! They just walk acrsss! The Wall will keep them from doing that! MAGA!

No but imagine a Shoot-on-Sight after 2 violations of the overstaying. Guarantees no one overstay after 2 warnings.
