This calls biz. Amazon CEO taking advantage of the rules as much as our leader does when he writes his taxes off. Perhaps we all should call our sen. Representatives and say no to amazon, right? (In case your city wins)

Amazon is Wal-Mart on steroids. You don’t want them in your city. They’ll gut your culture and everything that’s good about your city, increase traffic, and drive up housing prices. Amazon sucks.

To Amazon management: do not make your headquarters choice the south or Midwest. That just perpetuates the ongoing decline in wages and workers’ rights in this country. Think “blue”states.

Yes, build in Blue state while getting tax breaks so citizens can be taxed further to support richest man in history.

No, the objective is to deny employment to the South and Midwest.

South continues to benefit from low tax rates & low cost of living. NY, Nj, CA losing industry due to state corporate tax rates.

Low wages, piss poor benefits, and employer intimidation. For example, Tyson Chicken. I know first hand: I have family who live in Arkansas.

That sounds like Amazon’s standard when it comes to their employees. Seattle hates that company.

Fingers crossed for Montgomery County! As a resident I am biased, but as a business owner in MoCo I am fully aware of the cost of doing business. I hope it was a good proposal!! Come on Amazon!

That happens to me too from time to time. My Google "Local News" feed includes Montgomery County articles, sometimes the word Maryland or Pennsylvania isn't anywhere in the article and Google doesn't seem know the difference. I always get a good laugh out of it. #MoCo
