WSJ, face up to your mistake. Quote the president correctly. Why didn't your reporter contact WH for clarification? Care about the truth, at last.

He was elected by the majority, not only his “base”. Never underestimate the power of a hawk. The feathers and droppings of the last dove President are everywhere.

Stalin and Hitler remained popular with their ‘base’. I don’t respect Trump’s base any more than those others.

Too bad his base is not in line with the majority of the country, too bad he only appears to be governing the 32%. This will be his downfall. That and all the foolish choices he continues to make.

As much as possible I will not buy anything made in the USA. This Canadian has had enough of @realDonaldTrump's racist hatred. Buy Canadian first! Snowbirds, stay home. We've given up our two month's vacation in Florida this year. You can too.pic.twitter.com/IUc8kwanOe

This will be interesting. His base is probably secure, but there are Reps/Cons who are on the periphery of the base, who MAY be turned-off by events, and also others on the Dems side who didn't vote in the past, who will do so now. All to play for.
