He died well before trump's campaign really took off or the more obvious offenses and idiocy came to light. Fair to surmise his opinion could have changed had he lived longer.

Being utterly frank is not necessarily a good thing, as we are witnessing right now and even before he won. Saying whatever pops into your dotary old mind at any given time is not good when you're president of the U.S.

This is surprising to no one. Scalia was unabashedly racist and theocratic, a man wholly unfit for the duties entrusted to him. His memory lingers like an infected, painful cyst on the ass of a court whose reputation he irredeemably tarnished.
