That’s the only context that makes sense. Come on, WSJ. You got it wrong, need to suck it up and admit it. We want to be able to continue to trust you as a source of factual news.

I agree. I’m no fan of Trump - far from it - but even if the word isn’t clear the intonation of his voice suggests he’s talking future tense. I’m disappointed in @WSJ for persuing this tenuous story.

It’s so odd that this is being debated. Maybe the mind is adding an “I’d” b/c otherwise trump is mistaken or misspeaking? So it adds the d.

Only makes sense in the context of "I'd probably say....IF this or that" . He refutes nothing after. The only thing he could say is I unless he miss spoke, which is entirely possible from the world's most stable genius with the best words.

“I’d” is clearly audible. Seriously, correct your story. I’ve held the Journal on a pedestal for true objective journalism. You are massively damaging your reputation.

Sure sounds like he said “I’d”. Plus it only makes sense saying “and I’d probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea.” What u didn’t include in the text are the words he immediately said next “I would”. He and everyone else knows he doesn’t have one now
