I am ashamed that my home state still believes their battle against the country is a patriotic event.

Though, I haven't lived there in close to sixty years. I still have family there and care about what's going on. I contributed to the battle against women last year and had my debit card hacked for over $1,700 by a person on the phone.

The Confederate flag is an outdated symbol that represents nothing current. It's history. It deserves to be in a museum. The Confederacy was not the US. It doesn't belong in US spaces/forums.

Are you saying that museums are not for public use?

Museums are a designated area to reflect on past events. And people willingly pay to attend said areas and willingly participate in related activities and willingly help fulfill it's purpose. Quite different than having it representing your current local law and administration.

Two flags? Really? I think we tried the whole “separate but equal” and it wasn’t so good.

Two flags as a "compromise?" Who thinks it's a proper compromise to keep the flag of slavery and oppression flying? Oh, wait, then we'd have to replace both the flags.

Rightttt that makes sense Mississippi, the same way people “compromised” having 2 separate restrooms and 2 separate water fountains and 2 separate schools etc, #separatebutequal huh 🤦🏽‍♂️

Why not two POTUSes? One for Americans and one for Trumpers? It worked out well for the Vatican.
