        Uber and other apps charge flat fares.. But NYC Taxi charges by the miles and time travelled.. And its just too much traffic from Any NY Airport.. This was bound to happen..

        Well, if #yellowcabs didn't try to gip off customers by driving them all around #NYC thinking they are from out of town.... I have had to pull up the map for my destination on google maps to ensure the driver is not driving around aimlessly racking up the tab on the meter #Uber

        Taxis need to reinvent themselves to become relevant once more. Uber has its pit-falls - there is nothing perfect out there.

        All of these companies should have to comply with the same brick & mortar business laws that the old companies have to abide by or, the older companies should be able to do away with the medallions & other restrictive rules & regulations
