We should recognise that we are talking about the Chinese Communist party, not the Chinese people. The communist party is a barbaric, despotic regime that holds its citizens hostage to its ugly ideologies. The people are lovely.

Big old facade for the old Imperial class system - Party is the Court of the Emperor, no guessing who the emperor is! & the tendency to crush dissent is as strong as ever. What China needs is a genuinely liberal democratic evolution. We started with Magna Carta - they??? 🙄

Scenario: N. Korea vaporized S. Korea & Japan. US attacks & China retaliates. Russian tanks move into Western Europe. The dollar loses value.

Ridiculous. Western countries aren’t attracted to China’s “authoritarian model of development.” They’re attracted to lower cost and higher employment. Private “western” capital can’t compete with China’s centralized wealth. We no longer allocate resources effectively and fairly.
