The Falcon Heavy and SES-16 prep are continuing as if nothing was the matter, so it doesn't seem to be an issue with the rocket or fairing

They just want us to think it failed. It's doing just fine, reading the minds of every american citizen in the country. It's time for Private Enterprise to take over space missions when Government always holds things funding to NASA. Elon Musk and SpaceX deserves all our support.

Zuma has been added to the Norad catalog as 2018-001A / 43098 / USA-280. So it didn't fall back to Earth. A lot of stuff is pure rumor at this point. https://twitter.com/Marco_Langbroe … good thread outlining what isn't rumor.
@SciGuySpace is also a pretty good source for space launch stuff

Very misleading statement, SpaceX states that their rocket performed perfectly. Failure of the satellite to insert itself into orbit could have been a
@northropgrumman issue, assuming they are the satellite manufacturer. Also - this story could be 100% deception/disinformation - 1 more reply

Maybe they should have spent the extra 20 bucks and put one of these on it so they would know where it is?pic.twitter.com/kLQtu79Rma

Quite a presumptuous and irresponsible headline, as both the satellite value and cause of failure have not yet been ascertained. Wait for the facts, WSJ.

This is what you get when you privatize this industry. Prepare for lots of deaths if they are expected to launch people into orbit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't spacex's fault, it's the satellites
