Reading doesn't automatically mean believing. I read a lot of bull and, I hope, apply a lot more critical thinking. Of course, I may just be dyspeptic.

It matters less what they read than what they believe. Choose to believe...

This just highlights that those who read 'fake news' are more critical thinkers. More than can be said for Msm only readers

No. It doesnt. But I’ll remind you Fox and WSJ are “msm.”

some people like to test themselves and learn the styles of the fake news sites so they can be better at spotting them.

And it turns out the people likeliest to pick a bad apple are the ones who pick a lot of apples. Amazing, isn't it?

The best approach is to assume all news is fake until proven authentic. A news org shouldn't have to promote itself as an accurate source either, like CNN's "most trusted" motto. That's just suspicious. Good journalism speaks for itself.

Hard news? You mean rich news that self-proclaims itself as the truth?

That's not a "Turns out - aren't we all surprised". They read more. So of course they do. The question is \WHO BELIEVES fake news more? Trump supporters - obviously.
