When is it Apples job to monitor our children. Take the phone away from ur kids! Or don’t buy them one. Pretty simple.

It’s the parent’s problem not Apple’s.
#beaccountableforyourchildren#stopblamingothers -
Agreed, but maybe a little of both is a good idea.
-
No it’s 100% the parents fault. Did the child walk into a Apple store and buy an iPhone?
-
Fault’s not the issue. The issue is how to remedy it. You’re right. We could take iPhones away from every child. Not likely. Society often makes reasonable demands on product makers to mitigate issues w/their product...like maybe tools that would make it easier to parent the use.
-
Apple did nothing wrong here. They saw an opportunity and capitalized on it. They profited from it and I respect that. Only issue here is how mommy and daddy are going to deal with their child’s addiction to the iPhone. Maybe parents should stop trying to keep up with the Joneses

What does this have to do with Apple?

Apple investors calling on Apple to do more about smartphone addiction problem. There's a link to the article in WSJ's tweet if you want to read about it.

Thanks smartass. My point is more so that this is a parenting issue and not an Apple issue.

Parents are the toxic ingredient. They are the ones who continue to allow it
