        In Israel we solved this problem back in 2007 with GPS technology we pinpoint the closest EMS first responders via GPS technology to any call and dispatch them to the scene. We cut down response time to less than 3 min. country wide. Same holds true for Jersey City. @Ryan_Knutson

        911 needs to create an app that phone makers all agree to add to the phone. All buyers have to do is agree to the terms and turn it on.

        If "911 is stuck in the past" means that they're trying to respect people's privacy-good. I'm of the opinion that sadly someone uses same technology as I-phones without any handheld device to disable. #GeorgeOrwell
