They can also go to a committee college for 2 years before transferring to a university. Many additional scholarships exist for both stages of that process that aren’t normally available, & tuition is much cheaper for what isn’t covered.

That's the best bet for sure, as long as the kid is super focused and completes his two years at community college. Also need to make sure credits will transfer to the 4 year university.

If you get an associate of arts at a community college and go to a university in the same state, it’s guaranteed that at least most of the credits will transfer. Obviously, it’s worth verifying specific class requirements to maximize what will transfer.

In order to position oneself for a merit scholarship, a student has done a lot of work. It takes academics, extracurriculars, leadership and volunteerism. The world is very competitive for young people.

I find that debt cancellation can be the basis for creating a public service team to provide infrastructure rebuilding all over America & its protectorates, without incurring high wage bills Here also is the ability to teach Citizens blue collar trades & white collar professions

Debt cancellation does not have to only apply to strapped BA/AA students/recent grads, but also to Medical /Professional graduates; who could eliminate a % of debt by teaching multitudes of medical, veterinary, dental PAs/Techs, legal aids, surveyor/solar, building & Road techs.

Hope grant in Georgia and Tennesse Achieves pay for community college. A lot of kids still won't go.

There’s an unfortunate stigma on “community college” and some want residential/dorm life experience immediately.

Parents need to counsel/guide their kids. My daughter had a private college as first choice, but the better scholarship was at the public university. She went public. Have to be sensible about it.

People in general have bought into the myth that to be “successful” one MUST have a college education! There are 6 million great paying jobs that likely require skills more than education!

A beginning would be to collate the job categories, their required skill demands and their wage offerings, then publicize them. If there simply not enough people to then fill these jobs, then identify the geographic locations of these jobs and...
