Hurricanes, earthquakes and wildfires puts some U.S. insurers in a position to do what they haven’t done in years: raise prices.http://on.wsj.com/2DAg6Zr

Expect such costs and disasters to increase as we continue to pollute our air, land, and water!

Easier to increase premiums than to increase Building & Property durability to storms, floods, quakes, wildfires. Per #TrumpMath

Everyone would have to live in million dollar bunkers to withstand multiple hurricanes like that. It's cheaper to rebuild.

It's deadlier & costlier to rebuild.

When a $200,000 building fails, the Construction Industry needs to rebuild & sell 3 same price buildings to return to normal profit margins. Problem: the building occupants only need one Building.

So every single building should be built to withstand back to back Cat 5 hurricanes? Not feasible.

What's not feasible? Airplanes can withstand 1,200+ MPH winds, spacecraft can withstand 17,300+ MPH winds, cars & trucks can withstand 200+ MPH winds, why can't Buildings?

Buildings can. You just have to agree that the entire population of PR needs to live in concrete bunkers.

Take your shock absorbers, ball joints, tension springs, tie rods & tires off your car & see how long it lasts driving 50 MPH. (That's how your Building rides in wind, flood, & shock forces)

It is a moral obligation of western media to cover #IranianProtests 24/7. The freedom fighters will be mowed down without attention. It is Tiananmen Square ‘89 but right now, right here in age where every platform/network has to make a choice to cover or look away.
