Destigmatization wouldn’t result in a 400% increase in almost 3 decades. I think the argument is very accurate. Modern tech has jacked with our humanistic needs and we’re seeing it represented in even younger populations.

Umm, my dad would rather lose a digit than talk about his feelings. There are real generational differences in what has been considered okay. But I am not discounting your argument completely.

Buuut... would destigmatization of depression really result in thousands of people suddenly say - yes yes, finally bc of this Whiny snowflakes I can admit/ acknowledge my depression? Doubtful, I guess.
